1. Disqualification at Judging:
- Violation of entry requirements: Any tattoo found to be incomplete, started outside the Convention area, or not adhering to its designated category will be disqualified on-stage by the official judge. This includes exceeding size limitations or using prohibited styles.
- Touch-ups on healed tattoos: Any attempt to touch-up a healed tattoo intended for competition will result in disqualification.
- Unauthorized assistance: Using external help during the tattooing process within the Convention area is strictly prohibited. Any artist found receiving such assistance will be disqualified.
- Unprofessional conduct: Rude or disrespectful behavior towards judges, models, or fellow artists during the competition may lead to disqualification.
2. Rule Exploits and Loopholes:
- Misrepresentation of entries: Registering a tattoo under a different category or age group with the intention of gaining an unfair advantage will lead to disqualification.
- Collusion with judges: Any attempt to influence judges through unfair means, bribery, or pre-arranged agreements will result in immediate disqualification for both the artist and the model.
- Multiple entries exceeding limits: Attempting to bypass the one-entry-per-category rule through alternate models or pseudonyms will be considered rule exploitation and lead to disqualification.
